Load test

We drive the glider to the maximum load with help of the truck.
The sensor between glider and truck transfers all data to computer.

 

Flight test

We test the gliders in minimum and maximum weight.
We do 24 manoeuvres at least twice to make sure of the results. The final result is the highest classification these manoeuvres gets.

 

Rescue test

We test the rescue in flight/load test at maximum weight. In flight we check the opening, stability and sink rate.
The rescue is tested in 40 m/s free fall for the load test.

Swiss and French Federation will organize a comparison for rescues which are on the market today. The comparing will take place in Villeneuve and we have 4 brave pilots who are ready to swim in the cold lake Geneva.

We will check the Opening time, stability and sink rate.

We have almost 40 rescue openings with 18 different manufacturers. 
Press and some manufacturers will be present here in Villeneuve during the comparison. If you are interested just to have a look, you are welcome.

The comparing is March 31 - April 1, with reserve day April 2.
